WEEKDAY CLASSES
FREE ENGLISH CLASSES
Free adult English language classes are offered each Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM-11 AM. This semester, our beginner & advanced classes are meeting in the Koon Mission Building on our church property. Our intermediate class is meeting over Zoom. All are welcome. Please register before you attend. If you have questions about our English classes, please contact Meredith at meredith@universityavenuebaptist.org.
FREE PRESCHOOL CLASS
A free mom & child preschool class is offered each Wednesday from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM in the Koon Mission Building. This class is part of our initiative to serve & connect moms in Manoa Valley. Each class includes free play, circle time, and learning centers time. We explore a different letter of the alphabet each week in many hands on ways. The goal of this class is to provide time & space for moms and kids to connect with one another and learn through play together. Our multi-generational small group is for all households: single, young families, empty-nesters, & kupuna. We meet in 2 groups each week: an adult group & a multi-generational group. When the men’s adult group meets, the women lead the multi-generational group (and visa versa), alternating each week.
